Does Collagen Lift ULTIMATE hurt?
No, Collagen Lift ULTIMATE is not painful. The SkinBase Microdermabrasion has been compared to the feeling of a minor tugging on their skin, or a gritty facial massage. The SkinBase Collagen Lift treatment is relaxing, like a hot stone massage, and the temperature will only ever be as high as you are comfortable with.
What happens during treatment?
During treatment, the skin will be prepared with a cleanse and the skin will be blotted dry. Your SkinBase therapist will begin with a gentle base exfoliation using SkinBase Microdermabrasion on the face and neck. Once done, the crystals will be removed, and your therapist will assess your skin to ensure it is appropriate to continue with the treatment. A conductive gel will be applied, ensuring the skin has a nice glaze to it, and then Collagen Lift treatment will be performed. Once completed, the gel will be cleansed from the skin, and your therapist will proceed with skincare products to soothe the skin.
